FAQ
What is Web2Android?
Web2Android is a no-code platform that converts your website or HTML into a fully functional Android app (APK). It’s built for creators and businesses that want a fast way to ship an Android app with white-label ownership.
How does Web2Android convert a website into an Android app?
Web2Android packages your site into a secure Android WebView app. Your website continues to run as normal, and the app becomes the mobile shell around it. Updates you make on your website are reflected inside the app.
Do I need coding skills or plugins (WordPress/Shopify/WooCommerce)?
No. Web2Android is a no-code Android app builder. You don’t need to write code, install WordPress plugins, or modify your website—just paste a URL or upload HTML and build.
Will my website layout look the same in the app?
Web2Android displays your website exactly as it appears on mobile. If your site is already mobile-friendly, it will feel natural and app-like. If your site is not optimized for mobile screens, the same layout will appear in the app. All app features remain fully functional—including navigation, AdMob, push notifications, and Play Store readiness.
Will checkout and payments work inside the app (Shopify & WooCommerce)?
Yes. Checkout works inside the app the same way it works on your mobile website. For Shopify and WooCommerce, product pages, cart, and checkout flow load normally, and payments are handled by your existing store setup. Web2Android does not interfere with payment gateways or order processing.
Can I monetize my app with Google AdMob?
Yes. Web2Android supports full AdMob integration (for example: banners, interstitials, and rewarded ads). You keep 100% of the revenue— there’s no revenue share.
Does Web2Android support push notifications?
Yes. Push notifications are available as an optional feature. You can notify users about updates, announcements, or promotions. Push notifications work independently from your website content.
Is my app white-label?
Yes. Your app is white-label—your app name, icon, and splash screen. You retain full ownership of the APK and your AdMob accounts and revenue.
Is the app Play Store ready?
Yes. Builds are packaged to be Play Store ready. You can publish using your own Google Play developer account. (As with any app, final approval depends on your app content and your Play Console settings.)
Do I need to rebuild the app every time I update my website?
Usually, no. Because the app loads your live website, most content updates appear instantly without rebuilding. You typically rebuild only if you want to change branding (icon/splash), package details, or certain native settings.
Is Web2Android free?
Web2Android currently offers beta access. Paid plans will be introduced later with transparent pricing. Your feedback helps shape the roadmap.
What kind of support do you provide?
During beta, support is available via email. As we grow, we’ll expand support options and documentation for faster self-serve help.
