Web2Android Documentation
Web2Android is designed for indie developers, founders, bloggers, and rapid MVP launches. It converts your website or HTML into a white-label Android build with optional monetization and push notifications.
Getting Started
- Paste your website URL or upload static HTML.
- New here? Read the quick guide: Convert your website to an Android app.
- Choose Basic or Advanced build.
- Enable Play Store mode only if you plan to publish on Google Play.
- Download your generated Android build.
Build Types
Basic: Website/HTML → Android build with optional AdMob integration.
Advanced: Everything in Basic, plus push notifications via Firebase. Requires a valid google-services.json.
APK vs AAB
APK: Best for testing or direct installation on Android devices.
AAB (Android App Bundle): Required for uploading your app to Google Play.

Publishing to Google Play
When Play Store mode is enabled, Web2Android generates a Google Play–compatible build. Final approval depends on your app’s content and compliance with Google Play policies.
Not sure how the full process works? Read our step-by-step guide on how to publish a website as an Android app on Google Play.
AdMob Integration
Add your own AdMob IDs for banners, interstitials, and rewarded ads. Web2Android does not insert platform ads or take a revenue share — you keep 100% of your monetization.
Push Notifications
Advanced builds support push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging. Upload your google-services.json from Firebase to enable this.
Limitations
Web2Android is optimized for web-first applications and rapid launches. It is not intended to replace fully native Android development for advanced hardware integrations or deep OS-level features.
